The 44 th edition of our Future Stars series is called “Emulsions Conclusion” and comes from Mehr is Mehr.
trndmsk: Mehr is Mehr, what can we look forward to in the next few minutes?
Mehr is Mehr: You gonna hear the rougher side of Mehr is Mehr. Depending on the party, context and people a softer side of us does exist. In the beginning we started with straight techno – this is what you can expect from this podcast.
When did you record the set?
During the week after the last festival for this season, still a bit sandy in our socks.
What surrounded you at the time?
We’ve been surrounded and fulfilled with all those magical experiences and memories we collected during the weeks before- still can’t believe how crazy this summer was for us.
How did you choose the tracks for the mix?
As always when we start to prepare music, we spend a lot of time searching for new releases in the depths of the technojungle worldwide. But as well checking the promos from different labels is always welcome for the preparation of our sets. We mix the best of it with one or another older track of our collection.
Do you have a favorite track included in the mix?
Yes! We completely fell in love with “Mover” from Metodi Hristov!
What three songs do you tend to use in your current sets?
Not only three but all of them. Somewhen somehow in the next weeks we are sure that the one or another fits here or there. There’s a lot of movement in our library and because of this reason there are many options to connect whatever fits best in our impression in the moment.
Summer is over. What moments or festivals do you like to remember?
Is it to inaccurate if we say, that every festival was memorable in its own way? The summer was such a crazy ride from good experience to a better moment. Sure, playing at the Fusion Festival at Tanzwüste was incomparable- we never played on any other floor with that many peoples and crazy lightshow. But even all the smaller festivals were definitely heartwarming and rich of beautiful encounters- with our closest friends and new people we met there.
What are your near future projects? Are you working on any other projects?
Maybe project is a bit to much to call it. We always spend a lot of time searching and dealing with our music and this is how it should go on in the future. Always willing to learn and understand more- as well in producing skills. So, all in all we are really looking forward to whatever will come – the past has been more then once really surprising.
